Habitares híbridos. Articulaciones entre lo natural, lo artificial y lo digital en el campo del proyecto, el diseño y el arte

Abstract

Los medios digitales, así como los ámbitos culturales donde se integraron y los inéditos fenómenos que provocaron, han aportado a una reformulación de la concepción del mundo que afecta nuestra manera de percibir, experimentar e interpretar el hábitat humano. La pertenencia a los lugares se distiende a través de dispositivos heterogéneos que conforman un ambiente multidimensional donde lo físico tangible pasa a ser una dimensión sujeta al montaje y la superposición. A esto se suma la permanencia de la sociedad en la mediación tecnológica, interactuando todo el tiempo con todo tipo de información, lo que nos lleva a una lógica de la inmediatez, con recompensas y también con frustraciones. Así se configura un escenario complejo que además, cuenta con una nueva gama de tecnologías que fusionan los sistemas físicos, biológicos y digitales, desencadenando innovaciones disruptivas en todas las áreas de la cultura. En el campo del diseño y el arte se modifican y amplían los métodos de representación, las estrategias de producción y las posibilidades de experimentación, así como las interfaces de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las disciplinas proyectuales y artísticas, impulsando la hibridación y el mestizaje de lenguajes y medios, y habilitando el abordaje de los procesos heurísticos desde un enfoque transdisciplinar que permite integrar las indagaciones e intereses cognoscitivos de las tres carreras que se dictan en la FADU UNL, reconociendo y colonizando sus relaciones y fronteras para lograr una sinergia entre ellas. La fusión entre lo natural, lo artificial y lo digital nos propone redescubrir dónde habitamos, a partir de la vivencia simultánea de diversas dimensiones interconectadas e interdependientes que constituyen un ecosistema híbrido que evoluciona. El análisis, diseño y evaluación de producciones dinámicas que se adapten a distintos modos de habitar, articulando los recursos y tecnologías disponibles en la región, posibilitará la generación y difusión de nuevos conocimientos, y facilitará las apropiaciones y resignificaciones para un desarrollo responsable del hábitat humano. En síntesis, exploraremos de qué manera impacta y cómo podemos integrarnos y aportar desde la producción y formación de las disciplinas vinculadas al arte y al diseño en sus diversas escalas, en torno a la actividad de talleres que se sitúan entre la razón y el oficio, y necesitan relacionarse afectivamente con conceptos y formas pertenecientes a un contexto y una cultura.

Digital media, as well as the cultural fields where they were integrated and the unprecedented phenomena they caused, have contributed to a reformulation of the world view that affects our way of perceiving, experiencing and interpreting the human habitat. Belonging to places is distended due to the heterogeneous devices that make up a multidimensional environment where the tangible physique becomes a dimension subject to assembly and superposition. To this is added the permanence of society in technological mediation, interacting all the time with all kinds of information, an experience that leads us to a logic of immediacy, with rewards and also with frustrations. Thus, a complex scenario is configured that has a new range of technologies that merge physical, biological and digital systems, which triggers disruptive innovations in all areas of culture. In the field of design and art, the representation methods, the production strategies and the possibilities of experimentation are modified and expanded, as well as the teaching and learning interfaces of the projectual and artistic disciplines, promoting the hybridization and miscegenation of languages and media, and making it possible to approach heuristic processes from a transdisciplinary approach that allows integrating the inquiries and cognitive interests of the three careers that are taught at FADU UNL, recognizing and colonizing their relationships and borders to achieve a synergy between them. The fusion between the natural, the artificial and the digital proposes us to rediscover where we live, from the simultaneous experience of various interconnected and interdependent dimensions that make up a complex ecosystem that, in addition, evolves. The analysis, design and evaluation of dynamic productions that adapt to different ways of inhabiting, articulating the resources and technologies available in the region, will enable the generation and dissemination of new knowledge and will facilitate appropriations and resignifications for a responsible development of the human habitat. In summary, we will explore how it impacts and how we can integrate and contribute from the production and education of disciplines linked to art and design in its various scales, around the activity of workshops that are located between reason and craft, and need to relate affectively with concepts and forms belonging to a context and a culture.
