La conflictividad docente en Santa Fe entre 1966-1973: acciones colectivas e identidades sociales

Abstract

En esta tesis se investiga sobre la conflictividad docente en la ciudad de Santa Fe entre 1966 y 1973, focalizando el análisis en las formas que adquirió la acción colectiva de las y los docentes y las identidades sociales que se pusieron en juego durante ese período signado por un gobierno dictatorial y un proceso de contienda política ascendente, especialmente a partir de 1969. El recorte temporal responde a la conveniencia de cubrir un arco de acción social que pueda referenciarse a los profundos cambios políticos e institucionales de la etapa, sin desconocer que la periodización del conflicto social tiene sus propios ritmos y cesuras. La tesis está organizada a partir de cinco capítulos. En el primero se hace un relevamiento del estado de la cuestión y se establecen los referentes conceptuales teóricos y metodológicos. El segundo capítulo está construido mayormente sobre fuentes secundarias que permiten hacer una caracterización general de la situación social, económica, política y educativa nacional y provincial, que contextualiza el período en el cual se desarrolla la conflictividad docente. Los capítulos restantes están construidos en base a fuentes primarias puestas en diálogo con los desarrollos anteriores, y en ellos se abordan las estructuras de movilización, las acciones colectivas y las identidades de las y los docentes. Los tres capítulos responden a una periodización que fue construida atendiendo al desarrollo de la contienda política que llevó adelante la docencia con los distintos gobiernos provinciales que se sucedieron entre 1966 y 1973.

This thesis investigates the teachers' conflict in the city of Santa Fe between 1966 and 1973, focusing the analysis on the forms acquired by the collective action of teachers and the social identities that were put into play during that period marked by a dictatorial government and a process of rising political contention, especially from 1969 onwards. The time frame responds to the convenience of covering an arc of social action that can be referenced to the profound political and institutional changes of the period, without ignoring the fact that the periodisation of social conflict has its own rhythms and cessations. The thesis is organised into five chapters. The first chapter surveys the state of the question and establishes the theoretical and methodological conceptual references. The second chapter is mainly based on secondary sources that allow for a general characterisation of the national and provincial social, economic, political and educational situation, which contextualises the period in which the teachers' conflict developed. The remaining chapters are based on primary sources in dialogue with previous developments, and deal with the structures of mobilisation, collective actions and teachers' identities. The three chapters respond to a periodisation that was constructed according to the development of the political struggle between teachers and the different provincial governments that succeeded each other between 1966 and 1973.
