Análisis de las referencias bibliográficas de las tesinas de licenciatura en Bibliotecología en tres universidades públicas de Argentina (2001-2021)

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación es presentar las características de las referencias incluidas en la bibliografía de las tesinas de licenciatura en Bibliotecología en tres universidades públicas de Argentina de acuerdo al área disciplinar Mercosur a la que pertenezcan. Se analizan 10.163 referencias bibliográficas incluidas en 188 tesinas. La mayor parte de las tesinas estudiadas corresponde al área de Recursos y Servicios de Información. Más de la mitad de los autores y autoras mencionados con mayor frecuencia en la bibliografía de las tesinas es de origen latinoamericano. La mitad de las revistas científicas incluidas en la bibliografía de más del 10% de las tesinas son editadas en el continente americano. Se observan diferencias en la tipología de las fuentes de información utilizadas en las tesinas según el área disciplinar del Mercosur a la que pertenecen. También se observan diferencias en el soporte, idioma y antigüedad de los materiales consultados en las tesinas según el área disciplinar del Mercosur a la que pertenecen. A nivel general, se reconoce una marcada tendencia decreciente respecto a la referencia de textos en soporte físico y una leve tendencia decreciente en cuanto a la referencia de textos en idioma español.

The purpose of this research is to present the characteristics of the references included in the bibliographies of the Library Science bachelor's degree dissertations in three public universities in Argentina according to the Mercosur disciplinary area to which they belong. 10,163 bibliographical references included in 188 dissertations were analyzed. Most of the theses studied belong to the area of Information Resources and Services. More than half of the most frequently mentioned authors in the bibliographies of the dissertations came from Latin America. Half of the scientific journals included in more than 10% of the bibliographies of the dissertations are published in the American continent. There are differences observed in the type of information sources used according to the Mercosur disciplinary area to which the dissertations belong. There are also differences observed in the format, language and age of the materials consulted in the dissertations according to the Mercosur disciplinary area to which they belong. In general, there is a marked downward trend regarding the reference of texts in physical format and a slight downward trend regarding the reference of texts in Spanish.
