Socializaciones múltiples y continuas en sociedades individualizadas. Experiencias y trayectorias laborales, educativas y de cuidado en el entramado de las instituciones y las políticas públicas en Santa Fe.

Abstract

Esta investigación parte de una preocupación teórica en torno a las transformaciones de las sociedades actuales, especialmente las que afectan a instituciones cruciales para la formación social de los individuos: familia, educación y trabajo. Con el telón de fondo de sociedades individualizadas, se debilitan las orientaciones que antes proveían la tradición y la pertenencia a grandes colectivos sociales. Marcadores sociales como la edad, el género, el origen social y territorial, van perdiendo su fuerza regulatoria para orientar los cursos de vida. Así, la tarea de construir una biografía y darle un sentido recae en los individuos. En este escenario emergen modos novedosos de experimentar y transitar por las instituciones que, se conjetura, podrían estar configurando nuevas formas de socialización. El objetivo general es comprender las socializaciones emergentes en el contexto santafesino, identificando las principales tensiones entre experiencias y trayectorias educativas, laborales y de cuidado de distintos grupos sociales y los entramados institucionales y de políticas públicas con los que se vinculan. Los objetivos específicos son: 1. Identificar las principales regulaciones que configuran la familia, la educación y el trabajo y sus transformaciones. 2. Indagar los arreglos novedosos mediante los cuales distintos grupos sociales resuelven las tensiones propias de transitar estas instituciones en la Santa Fe actual y su relación con viejas y nuevas desigualdades. 3. Reconstruir los acervos de conocimiento resultantes de estas experiencias y trayectorias por distintas instituciones del contexto local. 4. Describir las iniciativas y acciones del Estado en sus diferentes niveles y de organizaciones sociales locales orientadas a compensar, remediar o atenuar estas desigualdades. Mediante el diseño de una agenda empírica multisituada, se propone abordar distintos grupos sociales cuyas trayectorias sociales e individuales involucran procesos de socialización novedosos, emergentes o discontinuos en diferentes ámbitos institucionales y en momentos específicos del curso de vida. Se combinará el análisis de un corpus documental con el análisis de testimonios recolectados a partir de entrevistas que realizarán los y las estudiantes en el marco de sus proyectos de tesis. Si bien cada relevamiento responde a preguntas y objetivos de cada uno de los trabajos individuales, esta diversidad se articula en una misma preocupación teórica.

This research stems from a theoretical concern regarding the transformations of societies in which we live, especially those affecting the institutional domains crucial for individuals' social formation: family, education, and work. Against the backdrop of individualized societies, orientations provided by tradition and belonging to large social collectives are weakening. Social markers such as age, gender, social and territorial origin are losing their regulatory force in guiding life courses. Thus, the task of constructing a biography and giving it meaning falls upon individuals. In this scenario, novel ways of experiencing and navigating institutions emerge, conjectured to be shaping new forms of socialization. The general objective of this research is to understand emerging socializations in the context of Santa Fe, identifying the main tensions between educational, labor, and caregiving experiences and trajectories of different social groups, and the institutional frameworks and public policies to which they are linked. The specific objectives are: 1. To identify the main regulations shaping the institutional domains of family, education, and work and their transformations. 2. To investigate novel arrangements through which different social groups resolve tensions inherent in navigating these institutions in present-day Santa Fe and their relation to old and new social inequalities. 3. To reconstruct the knowledge stocks resulting from these experiences and trajectories through various institutions in the local context. 4. To describe the initiatives and actions of the State at its different levels and of local social organizations aimed at compensating, remedying, or alleviating these inequalities. By designing a multi-situated empirical agenda, the research aims to address different social groups whose social and individual trajectories involve novel, emerging or discontinuous socialization processes in different institutional settings and at specific moments in the life course.
