La Imprenta de la UNL como herramienta educativa. Estudio de su potencial formativo desde tres perspectivas: Educativa, Tecnológica y de la Comunicación Visual

Abstract

Esta investigación focaliza en la recuperación, transformación y refuncionalización de máquinas, materiales y oficios pertenecientes al patrimonio histórico tangible e intangible de la imprenta de la Universidad Nacional del Litoral. La tesis indaga sobre el devenir histórico de esta imprenta, así como acerca de sus diferentes acervos, a través de un relevamiento al que se propone llamar “inventario sensible”. En una segunda instancia, se propone el cruce del campo Educativo, el de las Tecnologías de la impresión en serie y el de la Comunicación Visual para estudiar el potencial de la Imprenta UNL como herramienta para el desarrollo de actividades y estrategias formativas específicas. El propósito general de esta investigación se enfóca en reponer desde lo educativo aquel oficio que dio pie a la democratización y al posterior desarrollo del conocimiento a mediados del siglo XV a partir de la invención de la imprenta por Gutenberg.

This research focuses on the recovery, transformation, and repurposing of machines, materials, and skills belonging to the tangible and intangible historical heritage of the printing press of the National University of the Litoral (UNL). The thesis explores the historical development of this printing press, as well as its various collections, through a survey that is proposed to be called a “sensitive inventory.” Secondly, it proposes the intersection of the fields of Education, mass Printing technologies, and Visual Communication to study the potential of the UNL Printing Press as a tool for the development of specific educational activities and strategies. The general purpose of this research focuses on restoring, from an educational perspective, the profession that gave rise to the democratization and subsequent development of knowledge in the mid-15th century following Gutenberg's invention of the printing press.
