Criptomonedas: medición y exposición en los estados contables de la actualidad, en Argentina

Abstract

A lo largo del presente trabajo, fuimos analizando diversos aspectos sobre las criptomonedas, en qué consisten, ventajas y desventajas, formas de adquisición, comparación con otras monedas y cómo funciona la tecnología que las origina (blockchain). Expusimos su reconocimiento a nivel internacional y su medición y exposición a nivel nacional. La tenencia de este tipo de activos, las criptomonedas, es un hecho cada vez más habitual de ver en las empresas. Y es por esta razón que se plantean inquietudes y desafíos para la profesión. Al mismo tiempo, se abre un abanico de oportunidades a los especialistas del área contable y auditoría; para lo cual se deberá estar atento para poder aprovechar y adaptarse a los nuevos retos.

Throughout this work, we have been analyzing various aspects of the cryptocurrencies, what they consist of, advantages and disadvantages, ways of acquisition, comparison with other currencies and how the technology that originates them (blockchain) works. We presented its recognition at the international level and its measurement and exposure at the national level. The holding of this type of asset, cryptocurrencies, is an increasingly important fact most common to see in companies. And it is for this reason that concerns and challenges arise for the profession. At the same time, a range of opportunities opens up for specialists in the accounting and auditing area; for which it will be necessary to be attentive to be able to take advantage of and adapt to new challenges.
