The aim of this paper is to explore the links between Griselda Gambaro's Antígona Furiosa and other texts such as Antigone, Odyssey, Hamlet, La Peste, etc. Manifold connections with different texts come to the surface by translations, quotations, allusions or hints, intertwined with original passages. These underlying texts get new meaning in accordance with the main thematic lines of Gambaro's play. The spectator is thus faced with the horror of the exerted and tolerated violence.
