Aproximación al estilo de Demóstenes

Abstract

The most interesting feature of Demosthenes style is the delivery of the speeches. This can be corroborated by the anecdotes of ancient authors and by a great number of clues in the same Demosthenic texts. These speeches demonstrate his virtuosity in the use of extremely difficult rhetorical figures such as hyperbaton, hypophora or parenthesis and the interminglement of diverse voices and tones in the same passage of a certain discourse, thus transforming a monological speech in a dialogical one.
