Seguridad privada y su inserción en el gobierno de la seguridad de la ciudad de Santa Fe

Abstract

Se busca indagar en la presente investigación sobre las características del trabajo de las agencias de la seguridad privada en el territorio de la ciudad de Santa Fe. En ese sentido, realiza un repaso teórico por conceptos clásicos como “policing” y su resignificación actual. Además, realiza un diagnóstico del estado actual del fenómeno en la zona, un repaso por algunos elementos normativos clave del sector, una identificación de los ejes que realizan las agencias, en qué lugares despliegan su actividad (sus características económicas como también en qué sectores de la ciudad se encuentran); como así también cómo es la visión y las interacciones con la policía. Con todo ello se intenta pensar y reflexionar sobre el rol de la seguridad privada en el gobierno de la seguridad contemporáneo y sus especificidades, utilizando como contrapunto la idea moderna de la garantización exclusiva del orden y la seguridad por parte del aparato estatal.

The present investigation seeks to investigate the characteristics of the work of private security agencies in the territory of the city of Santa Fe. In this sense, it makes a theoretical review of classic concepts such as "policing" and its current resignification. In addition, it makes a diagnosis of the current state of the phenomenon in the area, a review of some key regulatory elements of the sector, an identification of the axes carried out by the agencies, in which places they carry out their activity (their economic characteristics as well as in which sectors of the city meet); as well as how is the vision and interactions with the police. With all this, we try to think and reflect on the role of private security in contemporary security governance and its specificities, using as a counterpoint the modern idea of ​​the exclusive guarantee of order and security by the state apparatus.
