¿De qué hablamos cuando hablamos de salud intercultural? Un análisis sobre el desarrollo del enfoque intercultural en el CAPS "Moqoit Nqadenqa" en Tostado, Prov. Santa Fe (2017-2019)

Abstract

La interculturalidad en el ámbito de la salud pública, en tanto política de estado para garantizar el acceso a la salud de las poblaciones indígenas, conforma el eje de la presente investigación. Por eso se intenta conocer y analizar el desarrollo del enfoque intercultural en el CAPS “Moqoit Nqadenqa”, ubicado en la localidad de Tostado, Prov. Santa Fe. Para ello se utiliza una metodología cualitativa flexible, y herramientas etnográficas tales como observación participante, notas de campo, entrevistas etnográficas. De este modo se da cuenta de cómo el enfoque intercultural en el campo de la salud pública, sobre todo en las instituciones de Atención Primaria de la Salud, se lleva a cabo mediante un proceso que no es lineal, y dentro del cual es posible encontrar disputas y tensiones entre los actores involucrados. Así mismo, se resalta la importancia de conocer y revalorizar a la cultura, y las concepciones de salud y enfermedad, que poseen los miembros de la comunidad mocoví “Pedro José” en relación a sus saberes ancestrales, como así también su cotidianeidad.

Interculturality in the field of public health, as a state policy to guarantee access to health for indigenous populations, forms the axis of this research. That is why we try to know and analyze the development of the intercultural approach in the CAPS "Moqoit Nqadenqa", located in the town of Tostado, Prov. Santa Fe. For this, a flexible qualitative methodology is used, and ethnographic tools such as participant observation, notes field, ethnographic interviews. In this way, it is realized how the intercultural approach in the field of public health, especially in Primary Health Care institutions, is carried out through a process that is not linear, and within which it is possible to find disputes and tensions between the actors involved. Likewise, the importance of knowing and revaluing the culture, and the conceptions of health and disease, that the members of the Mocoví community "Pedro José" have in relation to their ancestral knowledge, as well as their daily life, is highlighted.
