Frecuencia de enfermedades en población carcelaria de hombres Unidad Penitenciaria N.º 3 de la ciudad de Rosario durante el periodo 2015-2016

Abstract

Durante el año 2015-2016 dentro de la Unidad Penitenciaria N.º 3 se encontraron privados de la libertad un total de 250 presos. En este período los internos realizaron consultas médicas, muchas de ellas estaban relacionadas con padecimientos que tenían, pero se veían agravadas por las condiciones climáticas de la penitenciaria. Las consultas más frecuentes en los meses de verano y días cálidos fueron traumatológicas dermatológicas. En los meses más fríos del año las consultas estuvieron relacionadas con problemas respiratorios, cardiológicos, entre otros. Un motivo de consulta muy alto en los meses de actividad judicial es el examen físico que se realiza para el ingreso y egreso del interno a la unidad. Se considera de importancia que los pabellones sean climatizados y que se incentive a los internos a utilizar además del cuerpo el intelecto. Se cree que es de suma significación que los exámenes médicos que se realizan a los internos queden registrados en una única ficha tipo donde conste el historial del ingreso y egreso del mismo interno.

During the year 2015-2016 within the Penitentiary Unit No. 3, a total of 250 prisoners were deprived of their liberty. In this period the inmates made medical consultations, many of them were related to conditions they had, but they were aggravated by the penitentiary's climatic conditions. The most frequent consultations in the summer months and warm days were dermatological traumatologists. In the coldest months of the year the consultations were related to respiratory, cardiological problems, among others. A very high reason for consultation in the months of judicial activity is the physical examination that is performed for the admission and discharge of the inmate to the unit. It is considered of importance that the pavilions are heated and that the inmates are encouraged to use the intellect in addition to the body. It is believed that it is of the utmost significance that the medical examinations performed on the inmates are registered in a single type file where the record of the inmate's admission and discharge is recorded.
