Naturaleza humana, perfectibilidad y autonomía en la Filosofía Moderna.

Abstract

Este proyecto se propone como continuación de una serie de investigaciones previas en torno a la Ilustración y a la Filosofía Moderna, poniendo especial atención a tres conceptos clave: naturaleza humana, perfectibilidad y autonomía. Estas tres nociones no solo nos permitirán alcanzar un mejor conocimiento de un conjunto de debates filosóficos que tuvieron lugar durante el siglo XVIII, eje sobre el que pivota el Proyecto, sino también analizar una serie de discusiones que se dieron entre los albores de la Modernidad y el siglo XIX. Considerando los conceptos mencionados, el Proyecto se divide en dos ejes temáticos: el primero, "Naturaleza, moral y perfectibilidad", se concentra de manera particular en los aspectos antropológicos, éticos y estéticos; el segundo, "Utopía, Ilustración y autonomía política", pone su atención en los aspectos filosófico-políticos.

This project is proposed as a continuation of previous research on the Enlightenment and Modern Philosophy, focusing on three key concepts: human nature, perfectibility and autonomy. These three notions will allow us not only to achieve a better understanding of a series of philosophical debates that took place during the Eighteenth Century, the axis on which the Project pivots, but also to analyze a series of discussions that took place between the dawn of Modernity and the Nineteenth Century. Bearing in mind these three key concepts, we divided the Project in two thematic axes: the first, "Nature, Morality and Perfectibility", concentrates particularly on anthropological, ethical and aesthetic aspects; the second, "Utopia, Enlightenment and Political autonomy" focuses on philosophical-political aspects.
