This article proposes to determine the correspondence between the professional profile of the current curriculum of the information science career with the perspective of a current disciplinary paradigm. The study plan of the Degree in Information Sciences from a public university in the city of Resistencia (Argentine) was taken as the unit of analysis, it was examined with the content analysis technique. The results show a training path with a strong technical imprint that links it with the physical paradigm of information sciences.
