Abstract

Adopting the English for Specific Purposes approach in higher education poses a challenge for teachers of English as a foreign language, as they are faced with disciplinary issues, that they are unlikely to resolve on their own because they have not been trained in the specificities of the university degrees in which they teach. At the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Entre Ríos, an attempt was made to fill this gap through the interdisciplinary work of English with other subjects, which became an opportunity to apply the Content and Language Integrated Learning approach. Crossed by the Covid-19 pandemic, these teaching practices have been developed both virtually and on campus. This means that they are suitable for both online and traditional education.
