This work was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship and behavior between the performance obtained by students at the end of the courses and the teaching modalities applied by professors, taking into account that performance is considered the main indicator of learning outcomes. and reference to evaluate the quality of teaching and academic achievement and because the teaching modalities are an internal factor that can affect learning. The results obtained by the students at the end of the courses from 1st to 4th year and the teaching modalities most used by the teachers were collected. The relationship between both variables and how they behave in different years was determined. The results indicated that there is a dependency relationship between performance and teaching modalities. Students obtain better performance with the theoretical modalities, which predominate in almost all the courses and as they advance in the career.
