Abstract

Educational research clarifies the main role that learning channels play in incorporating a saber. The experience was carried out in the Workshop of the university entrance 2020 in the Veterinary Medicine career of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Learning channels an effective way of learning. The objective of the same was to seek the creation of spaces of self-knowledge related to the way of learning. For this reason, various techniques were administered during the course of two hours and then a Learning Channels Test by Lynn O Brien (1990) was applied, consisting of 36 statements linked to the various visual, auditory and kinesthetic channels. Through each proposed statement, the subject points out the correspondence corresponding to his habitual way of conducting himself to obtain an individual profile. It was applied to 186 incoming students. The results arrived at identified 35.9% of the students identified as the visual channel for their learning, 33.9% as the ear canal and 30.2% as the kinesthetic channel. In conclusion, an important variety of channels is recognized, showing the need to install a multisensory education in every learning instance.
