Abstract

In this article, the pedagogical experiences from its creation are recovered, historicized and presented as contributions to the current pedagogical practices of the Occupational Therapy career, from the voice of the retired teacher, advisor and creator of the career, Beatriz. Arriola de Mines. The questions that underpin this text are, among others, the following: Why and why write an article about the experiences, practices and pedagogical knowledge surrounding the career of Occupational Therapy? Why can it mean a contribution to university educational problems? How are the origin and specificity of the disciplinary knowledge of Occupational Therapy related to its teaching? With whom, in what spaces (in the classroom and beyond the classroom) and in what ways is it taught and learned in the Occupational Therapy career? And finally, to close the article, returning to this last inquiry, a problematization is presented around the traditions, memories and experiences that are recognized - and those that are not - in the teaching of the Occupational Therapy career.
