Starting from understanding incarceration as the crystallization of a longer proceses, I will describe and analyze the reconstructions and perceptions of males adult who have been imprisoned more than once on their life trajectories, focusing on what has been said about the place occupied by the incarceration, the effects it had on their return to life in freedom and the relationship between those effects and the return to prison.
