Abstract

Latin American social practices in their historical work have defined a set of skills, methods, ways and ways of managing the public. The science of public administration calls us to be increasingly critical and reflective about that reality that has cohabited with the implementation of administration paradigms, designed and implemented by and for divergent realities to ours. The present work, based on the qualitative case study, aims to provide some analysis tools provided by practices promoted by community organizations that actually exist in Argentina, Venezuela and Ecuador. From this, it is proposed to analyse the influence of community self-management in the forms of public administration in Latin America, taking as reference three organizations, selected under methodological criteria such as their community dimension, their nuclear capacity to other social organizations, which manage and administer public services and whose permanence in time is verifiable.
