In the transgender diary of the contemporary Venezuelan writer Ricardo Ramírez Requena, precariousness, illness and ruin are recovered from the point of view of the intellectual-traveler who elaborates a cartography of conceptual, vital and social relations intrinsic to his need for survival. In this diary the intellectual assumes, with all the weight of his body, his reason and his unconscious, his destiny, which is writing in post-autonomic times. The interesting thing is to observe, as the same process of walking and making a diary, let glimpse the contradictions and vertiginous movements of pleasure and enjoyment, that goes from the nostalgic affections for a modern «looted» Republic, to the delusions necessary to experience a country that definitely disappears «from the map», also dragging its intellectuals towards the unknown. Our approach tries to cross this diary without cleaning or clarifying these contradictions, because from them we will understand how fiction and reality are knotted. Finally we will see how the transgender proposes, on the table of contemporary literary writing, a format that liberates the multiplicity of rational senses and barbaric intensities, which crosses the current Venezuela.
