The book that is reviewed is a contribution to the field of knowledge from a comprehensive academic and social approach that arises from the joint initiative between the APEX Program and the Laboratory of Urban Centralities of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, both services of the University of the Republic, Uruguay. Pandemic, Territory and Outreach is the result of a collective effort, made up of leading university and non–university actors with a consolidated trajectory in outreach and community work. Called to share experiences, analysis of social problems and research, with emphasis on the activities carried out by UdelaR in the territory comprised by Municipality A of Montevideo during the pandemic caused by the Sars Cov 2 virus, this publication describes the work carried out in care to social demands and problems through the articulation between UdelaR and the community.
