Reserch from university extension. The chase of Universidad Nacional Experimental Francisco de Miranda, Venezuela

Abstract

The university extension is conceived as an integrative function, related to the capacity that it must have in terms of merging to the internal and external of the universities, currents, concepts, approaches, visions, and divergent interests among themselves, to achieve the community development. It must promote management strategies that allow the linkage with teaching and research. This article proposes to systematize the proposal of participation of the extension in the development of the lines of investigation of the National University Francisco de Miranda, Venezuela, like an administrative academic policy. Five research groups were created since extension, which are aimed at the social and economic, cultural, environmental and political level established according to the needs of the communities. Based on the results obtained, the aim is to stimulate greater participation of the university community in extensionist activities and to demonstrate the capacity to plan, create and promote university policies.
