Abstract

The author exposes in an auto-referential way how was the proper process of thinking about the methodology through an experience with a mid-level student, from which he began to question the idea of traditional maps. It works all those representations that subjects have in mind as experiential maps and on how the references of a known space allow us to formulate that lived territory, which enables the collective construction of maps. A tour through the theoretical discussion that gives foundation to the methodology is carried out, a critical analysis of the traditional cartography is carried out, which allows you to delve into a new and different way of creating maps. The proposed methodology seeks to blur the differences between the research subject and the researched subject, since both participate and construct together without distinctions and from their own knowledge, product of the experience.
