Abstract

In this work, referents of Latin American and world environmental problems describe and analyze what are the bases of environmental thought in the South? How did it come about? In what context? Who contributed to this emancipatory knowledge? The authors contribute to regional and global environmental thought, from Latin America. They adopt a critical, situated and historical position at the same time that they make novel proposals in the context of science, technology and innovation. The book invites you to go through the pages of the thirteen chapters in a pleasant and easy way. It means that anyone can read and reflect on various realities and problems of a city, a community, a neighborhood, families and organizations.
