Abstract

The article offers an approach to the study of the formation, functioning and decline of the History of Mentalities Workshop that operated between 1990 and 1999 at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts from the National University of Rosario. Its absence from the annals of the Cultural History of Argentina and Rosario is diagnosed, testimonies are recovered and the textual production of the workshop is reviewed in order to state as the main hypothesis that it worked as a micro society or intellectual formation due to its subversive features that disowned the habitus within the academic field, in spite of not defying the subsistence of the active dogmatism.
