Abstract

Alberto Worcel was a video maker dedicated exclusively to document the work of Argentine plastic artists and architects. Worcel’s interest was the fine arts and not the cinematographic art, since he conceived video as a tool for documenting content of personal and institutional interest and its communication aimed at specific audiences. In turn, he was part of the DECOED of the IES en Lenguas Vivas in which he made videos based on the production of content for students and teachers and documentaries on plastic artists. A part of DECOED’s production in the period of time that Worcel was part of his team is linked to his idea of using video as a documentation and communication tool based on personal and institutional interests, since it transcends the objectives of DECOED to facilitate teaching teachers with videos in classrooms.
