Abstract

In this article, we propose a reading of the uses of archival film materials in La ruta de la Forestal (Ramazza y Benito, 2019) and the meaningful implications that these entail. We understand that, as memory supports, audiovisuals have a strong potential for the formation, reorganization and framing of individual memories. Therefore, we must study them according to their historicity and the scene of disputes of which they are part. We find in the work of Gastón Gori the founding semantic field of La Forestal and a rhetoric denunciation line that serve as a landmark on various similar projects.
