The edition of academic journals of university extension

Abstract

In this section we reflect on the importance of scientific publications in the field of university extension. That is, the role that academic journals are fulfilling not only as disseminators of the actions and extension policies that are being developed in different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, but also as spaces where the conceptual, theoretical density is highlighted. and methodological linked to a heterogeneous, conflictive and complex discursive field. In turn, the note describes the First Meeting of Editors of Extension Magazines and the challenges that are imposed in the publishing field.
