Review / University Social Responsibility: the case of the National University Volunteer Program at UNaM.

Abstract

A new publication is reviewed that contributes to the deepening of knowledge about the National University Volunteer Program, which was created in 2006, within the scope of the Secretariat of University Policies of the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Republic. Precisely, it is considered that the greatest contribution of the work is the systematization of valuable information about said program. Its author analyzes it in its dimension of public policy and studies its implementation in the specific context of the Universidad Nacional del Misiones, between 2006 and 2015, recovering the perspectives of different actors of that institution. We recommend reading this book, which can be useful for those who develop university volunteer practices and for the staff in charge of managing the extension.
