Abstract

The object of this work is an attempt to understand and unravel the economic notions that present the curricular materials that are proposed for the teaching of Economics in the Secondary Schools of Santa Fe. The reading of the curricular materials was approached from an investigation registered in the qualitative-interpretative methodological field and based on interviews with teachers of the oriented cycle. The study of two cases was carried out in schools located in different social contexts. One of them located in the downtown area of the city of Santa Fe, attended by young people predominantly from the middle class, and the other in the peripheral zone of the same city, characterized by a vulnerable social context.
