The inclusion of all children, youth and adolescents is a priority for Argentine educational policy and has been working on it for a little over a decade. The emergence of the Covid 19 pandemic, a few days into the 2020 school year, installed a new scenario, in which the purposes and challenges that the Argentine formal educational system faced are in part anachronistic. The hindrances that the system dragged on since its origins become more evident, exacerbating the need to rethink formal education so that it can respond to the demand for quality education for all. Based on the analysis of the resolutions of the Federal Council of Education (CFE) this year, it is reflected on the extent to which the Covid 19 pandemic has exposed some features of the formal education system in our country that persist despite successive reforms and educational transformations.
