University environment and extension: scenarios, conflicts, agendas and public policies

Concern for the environmental issue has been gaining more and more relevance on the international public agenda for at least six decades.
The universities have been working on the environmental issue (in a broad sense) from the three university functions. In this call we ask ourselves: how is the environment reflected theoretically from interventions related to the field of extension? What methodologies are used? How do extension teams establish relationships with subjects, social movements and the State in the face of environmental problems? What proposals for improvement are built from the extension interventions in a collaborative way with these actors? What is the role of the SDGs that take up concern for the environment in university extension projects?
