Abstract

This work aims to present the role and importance of the teacher in the reflection processes of University Extension with the methodology of Service and Learning in Higher Education. For this purpose, we will first present the concepts and fundamentals of University Extension, then we will address the methodology and pedagogy of Learning and Service as a way to effectively carry out extension activities in university education, and finally, based on the theoretical framework of Paulo Freire, we will present the role of the teacher and the importance they have in the development of university extension that is transformative for both society and the comprehensive education of university students.
